In 2016, we responded to an invitation from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) to apply for funding though the Community Action Fund. Members of the CPPN were consulted to identify specific gaps in Canada's response to HIV and HIV co-infections, and to highlight, from members' perspectives in each region, the priorities which should be addressed if we were successful with our funding application.
Indeed, our application to the Community Action Fund was accepted and approved and a 5-year contribution agreement with PHAC was signed with total funding of $787,431, commencing on April 1, 2017.
Late in 2019, we engaged the firm Marcil Lavallée to complete an audit of our finances for presentation to CPPN members at our Annual General Meeting on January 25, 2020. Links to the reports are included below.
So, how are we using our funding? Click here to learn about our work.
