According to UNAIDS:
More than 50% of all people living with HIV in the world were women and girls.
"At the end of December 2021, 28.7 million people were accessing antiretroviral therapy, up from 7.8 million in 2010. [...]
80% [72–91%] of female adults aged 15 years and older had access to treatment [...] and,
81% [63–97%] of pregnant women living with HIV had access to antiretroviral medicines to prevent transmission of HIV to their child in 2021."
The CPPN remains steadfast in its commitment to women and girls who are living with HIV in Canada, and around the world.
