In 2016, we responded to an invitation from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) to apply for funding though the Community Action Fund.  Members of the CPPN were consulted to identify specific gaps in Canada's response to HIV and HIV co-infections, and to highlight, from members' perspectives in each region, the priorities which should be addressed if we were successful with our funding application.

Indeed, our application to the Community Action Fund was accepted and approved and a 5-year contribution agreement with PHAC was signed with total funding of $787,431, commencing on April 1, 2017.  

We are currently working to develop our proposal for the next funding cycle.

En 2016, nous avons répondu à une invitation de l'Agence de la santé publique du Canada (ASPC) à demander un financement par le biais du Fonds d'action communautaire. Les membres du RCPS ont été consultés pour identifier les lacunes spécifiques dans la réponse du Canada au VIH et aux co-infections par le VIH, et pour souligner, du point de vue des membres dans chaque région, les priorités qui devraient être traitées si nous réussissions avec notre demande de financement.

En effet, notre demande au Fonds d'action communautaire a été acceptée et approuvée et un accord de contribution de 5 ans avec l'ASPC a été signé avec un financement total de 787 431 $, à compter du 1er avril 2017.

Nous travaillons actuellement à l'élaboration de notre proposition pour le prochain cycle de financement.
